On the 10th of September, 1975, the XJS 5.3 GT Coupé was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Its shape was even more streamlined than the Jaguar E-Type, with a drag coefficient of 0.39. The XJS GT Coupé was initially only offered with a 5.3L V12 engine producing 211kW (287hp), providing a 0-100km/h time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 241km/h. This XJS of the first series was delivered to the US in 1976 and returned to Europe in 2017. Since this time it has been thoroughly repaired and prepared for sale by our Classic Works technicians.
