The last model year A beautiful and very well maintained XJS convertible with the more modern 4.0 ltr. inline 6-cylinder engine power plant of the last generation. In 1992 the JAGUAR XJS received its last facelift and was crowned with the AJ16 engine and the new 4-speed ZF automatic transmission. This engine/transmission combination replaced the older 4.0 ltr. and 3-speed automatic and is more powerful and zippier. In addition, the bumpers were revised and adapted to the current zeitgeist and design. The interior received 2 airbags and 2 rear emergency seats. This XJS Convertible was built in 1996 in Coventry and delivered to the first owner in the USA / Tennessee. Regular service work was carried out. Until 2011 the XJS spent time in a dry climate and was then exported to Germany. The condition speaks for itself. No corrosion or damage can be found. Furthermore, the XJS was painted very professionally and perfectly in the correct exterior colour White Solid. All necessary parts have been removed. Very elaborate and therefore not common for many vehicles. Since 2017 the XJS has 2 owners in Germany. Inspected, test driven and wheel bearings changed in our workshop.
