Originally supplied to Jaguar Cars New York in November 1961 this is an early example of the iconic E-type. Finished in its original colour-scheme of Carmen Red with Black interior the car has covered virtually zero mileage since a complete restoration by a well-respected specialist. Still with it's early E-type features, in particularly the "flat floors", "welded louvres" and "pumpkin" coloured cylinder head, the car is a matching-numbers example. The car was off the road from the early eighties until the mid twenty-tens, at which time the restoration was carried out. The restoration, whilst thorough and the car finished to the highest level, there was a focus on maintaining the originality of the car and preserving as much of the original metal-work as possible. The car has been inspected in the Jaguar Classic workshops and is offered with 12 months warranty for it's new owner.
