Finished in Light Green with Elephant Hide trim, this 109 Series 2a was built on the 25th January 1966 and delivered in February 1966 to the fire department / public service in Austria. Equipped by the Rosenbauer company as a pump vehicle with a fire pump on the front bumper and the searchlight on the right fender, tropical roof and luggage rack with rear ladder. This vehicle was re-painted in fire engine red and subsequently registered in 1967.
The fire engine came to Germany via a detour in 2019 and was partially restored. The condition was so good that only the body had to be painted in the correct delivery colour Light Green with a white roof. The interior and the engine compartment are mostly original, as is the tropical roof and the roof rack with its wooden strips. This was just sanded down and resealed. The water pump on the bumper was removed and a fully functional capstan winch was fitted in its place. The overall condition also speaks for very little use and regular care. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive and available for delivery today. For more information please contact a member of the Classic Sales Team in Germany.
