In 1994, after nearly a quarter of a century of production of the original, the second-generation Range Rover was launched. The design was very much inspired by the first-generation vehicle , but brought up to date. Features such as the “floating roof” and split tailgate were retained, but the sharp corners became more rounded as aerodynamics played more of a part in how the car looked. Mechanically the car was further refined from the original, featuring air suspension all-round and a larger capacity V8 engine. The all-new interior was entirely modernised with a more luxurious offering than its predecessor.
This particular car has formed part of the Jaguar Land Rover Collection since 2014, and previously part of the James Hull collection, and one private owner before that. It has covered just under forty thousand miles and it has been service by Land Rover main dealers up until its acquisition by James Hull, by which point it had covered thirty-seven thousand miles. It has been used sparingly since, and always maintained by our own workshops here at Jaguar Land Rover Classic.
Finished in Oslo Blue with Lightstone leather featuring blue piping as well as Classic Green wood trim, this 4.6 Vogue SE was registered in June 2002, and was among the last few thousand vehicles produced. The Vogue SE was a highly-specified model which featured most items that were previously optional extras as standard equipment.
This car has been prepared for sale in our own workshops and is supplied with 12 month warranty and breakdown cover.
