Built in 1951 this beautiful Jaguar MK V 3.5 LTR has a history file that can only be described as comprehensive; comprising of the owner’s manual, historic MOT’s, vehicle information sheet plus the JDHT certificate along with the original article from Autocar depicting its state of the engineering and motoring firsts. This Jaguar was originally painted Black from the factory and was furnished with a Tan interior. During its time a colour changed took place and was repainted in Cream and Brown to accentuate the vehicle's lines, highlighting its sweeping wings and wheel spats. The colour combination we see today compliments the interior, and really does make the vehicle absolutely eye-catching. Along with being a very usable piece of automotive art, the MK V drives sublime and is so far ahead of its time. The car is in very useable condition and would be perfect for sunny-day trips out. It would be a nice addition to the most distinguished of collections.
