First announced at the 1973 IAA and then available from 1977, the XJ Coupé Series II was certainly the most attractive variant of the XJ at this time in terms of its silhouette. Having been in production for only two years, examples of this vehicle are in short supply, and are some of the most sought after Jaguar sedan classics ever. Available in two engine variants - the race-proven XK Straight-Six and the remarkable 5.3L V12 – less than 1,300 units were produced of the left hand drive, 12-cylinder model. This is reflected in the market price point held by these models. This XJC 5.3 V12 Coupé is in an outstanding state of preservation. This dark blue model of a V12 XJC with biscuit-coloured Connolly leather interior left the Browns Lane Factory on the 12th of May, 1976 and since then has been kept in the mild climate of Italy. Now serviced by our Jaguar Classic service technicians and having undergone a comprehensive health check this car is ready for its new owner to enjoy.
