First registered in Coventry in April 1959 this Jaguar MK1 was subject to a superb 20 year 'rotisserie' restoration in which a 3.4-litre uprated engine was fitted from the original 2.4. Only 200 miles have been covered since this rebuild and any work carried out on the vehicle has been comprehensively documented. Prior to it's restoration this Mk1 competed in various national races during the 1970's. This remarkable, right-hand drive Mk1, was enjoyed by its first two owners before being purchased by a Mathew Dodson who enjoyed the car on the road but also campaigned it in club racing in 1976 and 77. The Mk1 was enjoyed for a few years before its meticulous restoration commenced in the late 80's and it was painted in its new colour of Jaguar British Racing Green.
